2008

The Green Rise of Richpack: Our Brand Story

In 2008, Merry Lin founded Richpack in Fuzhou, China with $300 and a clear idea: jewelry packaging could be beautiful without being wasteful. She set up a small workshop focused on eco-friendly materials at a time when most suppliers treated sustainability as an afterthought.

That decision shaped everything that followed. We started as a family business, and we still operate like one—making long-term decisions instead of chasing short-term shortcuts.

2013

RichPack moved to a new, larger facility

By 2013, demand had outgrown our original workshop. We moved into a 2,000-square-meter facility with 100 workers and a clearer production flow. This gave us room to standardize quality control, speed up turnaround, and take on larger orders without losing the consistency we built our name on.

2015

To Meet Growing Demand

In 2015, we invested in fully automatic machinery for 2-piece packer lines and semi-automatic equipment for plastic hinged boxes. By the end of this phase, production capacity reached 500,000 pieces per month.

Automation didn’t replace craftsmanship—it made it repeatable. We used the extra capacity to shorten lead times, reduce defects, and keep pricing competitive for growing brands.

2017

Richpack VIP Team Service System

We launched our VIP Team Service System in 2017, putting dedicated account support behind our biggest partners. The same year, we opened two branch factories in Dongguan to expand capacity and improve delivery speed.

This step reflected something simple: as our customers grew, we needed to grow with them—personally and operationally.

2019

Richpack Overseas Local Warehouse Cooperation

In 2019, we started working with local warehouses overseas to offer door-to-door service in the USA. This cut delivery times and made reordering easier for U.S. brands.

It was our first major move toward treating logistics as part of the packaging experience, not an afterthought.

2020

Resilience in Adversity

The pandemic tested every business, including ours. Supported by her family and alumni network, Merry Lin expanded RichPack’s presence in the United States and doubled down on two things: keeping her team employed and keeping customer commitments.

Instead of pulling back, we leaned into integrity and mutual benefit. That period proved our operations could stay steady even when global supply chains couldn’t.

Looking to the Future

2025

Global Expansion Milestone

In 2025, we opened a new manufacturing facility in Thailand. This expands our Southeast Asian production capacity, strengthens regional supply chain resilience, and brings us closer to the markets we serve.

The Thailand facility follows the same quality and environmental standards as our existing factories, with added flexibility for brands looking to diversify production locations.

2026

New Growth & Upcoming Brand Launch

In 2026, RichPack is expanding into two new directions. We’re broadening our product portfolio to cover the full jewelry packaging category end-to-end. And we’re preparing to launch RichPackDisplay, a dedicated sub-brand for online wholesale of premium jewelry display products.

Both moves come from the same place: listening to what our customers actually need and building solutions around that.
